IB MTS Recruitment 2025
IB has released a job notification about IB MTS recruitment 2025 of 362 Multi-tasking staff online. Intelligence Bureau under the Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the job notification for Multitasking staff post. A total of 362 vaca ncies are announced. Aspirants can apply for the same from 22 November 2025 till 14 December 2025 through online application. It is the a great opportunity for those who want to join the intelligence agencies and enjoy central government benefits.
(Intelligence Bureau) IB MTS recruitment 2025 is held by Ministry of home affairs. There are only 362 vacancies declared by the organization. Qualification required is Matriculation (10th pass) and domicile certificate in relevant SIB. The age limit for the same is 18-25 years as on 14 Dec 2025. The exam will be in two Tiers, Tier 1 will be MCQ based, and Tier 2 will be Descriptive test. The payscale for the same post varies for level 1 is between 18000-56900 + 20% Special Security Allowance with other allowances. The last date of applying for the same is 14 December 2025.
IB has distributed 362 multi-tasking staff post across 37 SIBs(Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux). The categorywise breakdown is as shown below.
Each SIB city/region has its own allocation so choose your preffered SIB carefully. Please note once selected it cannot be changed/modified later.

Once the selection is completed, the staff will get the salary as per the structure below.
Tier 1 (Online Objective)
It will be a total 1 Hour exam. There will be four sections as per the syllabus.
General awareness will include Current Affairs, History, Polity, Geography, Economy. Quantitative will include Percentages, Ratio, Time & Distance, Averages. Logical exam will include Series, Analogies, Classification, Non-Verbal. English language will consist of questions based on Grammar, Sentence Structure, Comprehension, Synonyms / Antonyms.
There will be negative Marking: ¼ mark per wrong answer. So choose your answers wisely.
Expected Cut-off (Qualifying): UR ~30, OBC ~28, SC/ST ~25, EWS ~30 (based on previous data).
Tier 2 (Descriptive/ Qualifying)
The descriptive exam will be of total 50 marks. Which will include paragraph writing (150 words), comprehension, grammar, vocabulary. It will be of total 1 hour, qualifying marks will be 20.
